At this stage, children are eager to explore new ideas, express themselves, and collaborate with friends. Learning & Development
Our educators foster curiosity and skill development through an Emergent Curriculum, where children’s interests guide learning across the four key developmental areas.
Motor Skills
Sports and activities like building, and outdoor play, coupled with Munchkinetics, build gross motor skills, while fine motor skills are honed in our Mini Masters fine arts sessions and other purposeful activities.
Language
Through conversation, storytelling, and our Alpha-Mania early literacy program, educators strengthen vocabulary, phonetic awareness, and communication skills.
Cognitive Growth
STREAM-based experiences (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math) encourage our children to ask questions, test ideas, and build critical thinking skills.
Social–Emotional Development
Group play, role modeling, and collaborative projects teach cooperation, empathy, and respect for others’ ideas.
Proprietary Learning Programs
Preschoolers take part in all of our proprietary programs—engaging, multi-sensory experiences unique to Kids & Company that help children to reach their developmental milestones.
Alpha-Mania
Our early literacy program builds a foundation in literacy through music, storytelling, and phonetic play.
Mini Masters
Our fine arts program introduces children to renowned artists and their techniques, encouraging creativity.
Munchkinetics
Our movement and physical education program builds coordination, balance, and self-confidence through music and physical play
Enrichment Programs
Preschoolers gain curiosity, awareness, and meaningful early learning experiences through enrichment programs.
- Sign Language enhances communication and empathy, helping some children express thoughts and emotions effectively.
- Yoga promotes calm, mindfulness, and emotional regulation through playful stretching and breathing.

Transition Week
To ensure a smooth and positive start to care, Kids & Company provides families the benefit of a transition week.
Transition week begins one week prior to your child’s first week of care and is a five-day schedule designed to gradually introduce children to their new learning environments, educators, and peers. It helps to ease separation anxiety and to foster an overall positive introduction to care for the whole family.
